How Access Controls Automation Can Help Achieve ISO 27001 Compliance
As technology advances, so does the threat of data breaches and theft. While organizations can beef up their security systems and practices, it has to be an ongoing process that adheres to new standards of security. That is why most organizations across the globe are attaining certification for ISO 27001:2015, an information security framework.
Since ISO 27001 was updated in 2015, organizations should consider achieving compliance for the framework, as it’s a globally recognized standard for information security, policies, and procedures. In a post on LinkedIn, our CEO Jody Paterson wrote about the demand of ISO 27001 compliance stating, “With data breaches and cyber-attacks becoming increasingly prevalent, I believe the demand for ISO 27001 adoption will continue to grow as organizations look to increase the focus on preventative controls.” He also goes into more detail about what’s expected for organizations when trying to achieve ISO 27001 compliance, and why access controls automation is one way for organizations to adhere to the framework’s guidelines. Read more about it in Jody’s post.
