Cybersecurity Spending is Rising – Here are Three Free Security Tools to Use
As cybersecurity needs rise, so does the cost. An August 2018 report from Gartner says that worldwide spending on cybersecurity products and services will reach over $114 billion in 2018, increasing by 12 percent from last year. By the end of 2019, it’s forecast to grow to $124 billion.
While every company has their own unique cybersecurity needs, Gartner reports the most common drivers to purchase security products and services are security risks, business needs and industry changes. As both companies and consumers rely more heavily on technology, it absolutely requires more measures in place to protect themselves and their customers. At the same time, industry and federal regulations are ensuring companies keep up with cybersecurity measures as security threats become more stealth and damaging.
All of this is propelling cybersecurity costs to rise steadily, but getting the insight you need to keep your company safe doesn’t have to come at a high cost. Cybersecurity news site Dark Reading published an article on 12 free and ready-to-use security tools that reveal the threats companies are up against and how to begin to mitigate those threats. Out of those 12, our webinar will recap three of the free security tools available, including ones from ERP Maestro, Onapsis and others.
